Felise Gutierrez

Felise standing on stone steps in an indigo-dyed dress and cowboy boots

Felise works in natural dye — indigo, wild plants, and cloth as a living practice. Color is gathered, fermented, bound, and opened in air. The garments and yarns on this site come from that rhythm.

She teaches workshops and studio classes, and takes a small number of brand commissions. Residencies have been part of how the work stays close to land: a week with a forage basket, pots on the fire, yarn drying against rock. That time is told as a sequence of photographs, not a resume — see Residencies.
